Edwin and Percy Warner Park (3,100 acres) has a Nature Center, picnic shelters, a dog park, scenic roadways and overlooks, hiking trails, mountain bike trails, historic sites, an equestrian center and horse trails, cross country running courses, and athletic fields. It is also home to Percy Warner Golf Course (9 holes) Harpeth Hills Golf Course (18 holes), Cheekwood Estate, and the Iroquois Steeplechase.
Radnor Lake State Park (1,368 acres) is a protected natural area with over six miles of trails. It’s perfect for hikers, photographers, and wildlife observers. Ranger-led programs include canoe floats, wildflower walks, astronomy night hikes, nature hikes, and programs about local animals.
Centennial Park (132 acres) in downtown Nashville features the iconic Parthenon. The park also has a one-mile walking trail around Lake Watauga, the Centennial Art Center, historical monuments, a sunken garden, a band shell and events shelter, sand volleyball courts, a dog park, and an exercise trail. Many festivals and events are held here including Celebrate Nashville Cultural Festival, Dog Day Festival, and Shakespeare in the Park.
McCabe Park, in the Sylvan Park neighborhood, is home to the historic McCabe Golf Course (27 holes) and the Richland Creek Greenway. The greenway features a scenic multiuse paved trail, outdoor gym and bike rentals.
