Lydia:
I fell in love with real estate at a young age, thanks to my mom and our local Parade of Homes. While most kids begged to leave, I happily walked through each house and pictured what my life might be like if I moved in. Today, my favorite network is HGTV, and I still enjoy seeing a new home and helping clients imagine a future inside. Every move is full of possibilities—new traditions, new friendships… new furniture.

There's a sweet vibe here in Nashville. Some people call it southern hospitality. But I'd argue the "Friendliest City in America" gets its title from its transplants. It's rare to meet someone born and raised in Nashville. Most of us moved here chasing a dream and hoping to make a better life for our families. I love results, and I love people. That's why I have an undergraduate degree in math and a master's in counseling. Twenty years ago, I entered into sales to combine both of those passions, and eventually closed million dollar accounts, but I missed working with clients face-to-face.

(Don't worry about the mess, I'm too busy calculating square footage.) I can't drive past a model home without stopping to take a look. And I'm not too proud to admit I watch HGTV with my wife and daughters (when football isn't on). I'm in the right profession.
